RMSYL 22: The History of England by Jane Austen (read by Janina Matthewson)

You can learn everything and nothing about a person by the virtual breadcrumbs they scatter across the internet that lead you and the Google bot towards them.

Before meeting Janina Matthewson I already knew that she was damn funny and damn sharp. This is thanks to the 140 character slivers of Janina that pop up in my Twitter stream on a daily basis.

Here’s a recent selection that I’m rather fond of:

-Will distract myself from fear of doom by drawing your attention to my blog post on lurve: http://tinyurl.com/cq7a4nk #ImmatureAlternateSpellings

-I like the ability of automated messages to turn negative statements to positive: “This person IS not available.”

-Have frittered away much of my morning and it must stop! #WriteBitchWrite

-I wrote a very short story for a National Flash Fiction Day comp: http://myrednotebook.com/writings/short-stories/for-i-also-need-rescue/

If Jane Austen had a secret penchant for Beyonce, these are the kind of tweets she might write.

Would Jane Austen tweet?

Hell yeah.
